Menu Plan Monday - May 11

Better late than never, right? ;)

Monday - Chicken Parmesan, Penne pasta with garlic and olive oil
Tuesday - German Pork Chops, Rice-A-Roni, Corn, Crescent Rolls
Wednesday - Grandma's Sunday Roast, Potatoes & Veggies, Biscuits
Thursday - Dinner at Mom's using the new smoker we got her for Mother's Day!
Friday - Shepherd's Pie*, Salad, Biscuits
Saturday - Taco Ring, Salad
Sunday - Bourbon Chicken with Garlic, Velveeta Shells & Cheese, Green Beans, Rolls

For the Shepherd's Pie, I will use leftover meat from Wednesday night, the veggies in my freezer stash and a package of Homemade Gourmet Mom's Smashed Potatoes. Whenever we have corn or green beans with dinner and have a spoon or two leftover, I toss them in a container in the freezer to use for soups, stews or recipes like this. So this recipe will cost me almost nothing and be oh so yummy!

  2. Being from Portland, Maine, I've been introduced to Sheperd's Pie. They used corn, hamburg, mashed potatoes and American Cheese.
I no longer make it but I find it on a menu I usually give it a try.
